Happy Summer!
Perhaps you're thinking of making a purchase in my shop, or maybe, you're looking for some inspiration to create your own piece during this quarantine period. As much as I'd love to make your next chalkboard, I'm more than happy to share some techniques.
1. Let's start with the basics. All you need is some grid paper and a marker with a thin point. Here's a short clip to walk you through the process.
2. If you can write in script/cursive, you may want to explore faux calligraphy. Here's another quick video to help you get started.
3. "But Jenny, I want to know how you do those florals on the chalkboards." Great! All you need is a non-porous chalkboard and some chalk markers. Here's a fun video showing you a little bit of the process.

The key is practice and more practice! Let me know if you have questions! If you use any of these techniques, please share and tag me! I cant wait to see!
Happy doodling!
